How the Evaluation and Approval Procedure for Certified Reference Materials Is Conducted
The procedure is carried out with the participation of:
- Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology RSE (KazStandard).

1. Technical Documentation Expert Review
- Review of technical documentation;
- Assessment of the intended purpose of the Reference Material;
- Verification of the metrological characteristics of the Reference Material;
- Preparation of an expert opinion.
- Preparation and coordination of materials for the Technical Council;
- Conducting the meeting in accordance with the approved schedule;
- Obtaining an official expert opinion confirming positive results.
- Submission of an electronic application through the elicense.kz portal;
- Signing and issuance of the Certificate Authorizing the Use of a Foreign Reference Material.
Time required for registration of a Certified Reference Material in the State Measurement System Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan: 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of payment and the complete documentation package.
