The process for obtaining authorization documents for disinfectants, disinsection products, and rodenticides is regulated by Order No. KR DSM-336/2020 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020 On Certain Issues Related to the Provision of Public Services in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being of the Population.
Consequences of Non-Compliance:
In the Republic of Kazakhstan, the manufacture, importation, and sale of disinfectants without a State Registration Certificate are prohibited. Violation of this requirement results in administrative liability, including fines for both responsible officials and companies, as well as possible suspension of business activities.
If the use or distribution of an unregistered disinfectant causes harm to human health, penalties become more severe. Fines increase significantly, and the violator’s activities may be suspended for an extended period in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
